I am board-certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have experience evaluating and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions over the lifespan with a focus in adolescence through adulthood, including perinatal and postpartum mood concerns. My treatment focus is on psychopharmacological interventions while employing a comprehensive approach to mental health with the guidance of an individual’s specific health needs and desired health outcomes.

Jerika Perry is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than seven (7) years of medical expertise. She provides mental health services through initial psychiatric evaluation, follow-up appointments, individual therapy, in-person or virtual group therapy, and support groups. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse treatment.

I believe in partnering with my patients with both integrative and traditional medicine to develop a plan that supports your individualized needs and specific treatment goals. My name is Shannon Turner-Anderson. I am a Florida Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I hold a Master's Degree in Nursing from Alabama University in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Before relocating to Florida, I lived in Windsor, Connecticut. I am married with three daughters, ages seven, seventeen, and twenty-two. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending church on Sundays, and watching track and field and basketball. I am passionate about mental health care.

I have returned to Florida after finally completing my medical training in Delaware. I just couldn’t say no to the warm weather, beaches, sunshine and of course to be closer to my family. My specialty is adult psychiatry including psychiatric disorders associated with neurological issues. I am a licensed and dual Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a PMHNP, I take the time to get to know my patients and allow them to be included in the decision-making process. I believe in the importance of educating my patients in their treatment options so that they can make informed decisions. I understand and recognize the negative stigma associated with mental health, but I can assure you that it is my objective to alleviate this stigma while making sure that my patients feel comfortable, and able to trust me when it comes to their mental health concerns.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.
