As a board-certified psychiatrist, I am able to assist you with medications and/or therapy. I have practiced for 20+ years in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospital programs, and residential settings. My speciality areas include depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, OCD, and overall emotional well being. I especially enjoy working with the LGBTQI+ community and strive to provide culturally competent care to marginalized populations. As an artist myself, I enjoy working with writers, visual artists, performers and creatives of all kinds. I also provide creativity coaching.

Dr. Stephanie Chan is a double board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She empathically listens and thoroughly assesses from biological, psychological, social, and cultural lenses, for the most accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. She believes strongly that the success of treatment comes from collaboration between provider and patient, emphasizing on open communication and psychoeducation throughout the treatment process. Her approach involves various therapy modalities (including CBT, DBT-informed, psychodynamic, mindfulness), medication management when appropriate, or a combination of both.

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with dual certification as an adult/gerontology primary care NP and I also obtained my Doctor of Nursing practice degree. I have over 14 years of nursing experience and my goal is to provide compassionate, holistic care to help clients achieve optimal wellness. I am comfortable treating all conditions to include depression, anxiety, insomnia, mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD, social phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, binge-eating disorder, and weight management.

I am a Stanford University trained, board certified adult psychiatrist. I take a holistic, compassionate approach to treating individuals with a variety of conditions. Reasons for seeking treatment can be complex, and I recommend and prescribe medications using evidence-based practices only after a thorough assessment and when my client and I are in agreement with the plan. I am happy to collaborate with outside therapists and other medical professionals as needed to provide comprehensive treatment for clients.
