After completing training in 2012 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center of Shreveport, I began practicing psychiatry. I have experience practicing in multiple settings including emergency room, hospital, medical wards, outpatient program, outpatient offices, correctional facilities
Typically the first session is when the initial history is taken and a working diagnosis is assigned. Then a treatment plan is made together with the patient. Follow up visits are used to evaluate the efficacy of the treatment plan and make adjustments as needed,
