I take new patients from anywhere within California and offer telehealth which makes my availability flexible. I have a special interest in treating insomnia, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, OCD, and ADHD. My recommended therapy may include over-the-counter medications, herbal supplements, lifestyle modifications, and antidepressant/ antianxiety/ other psychiatric medications. I use the lowest effective dosing and utilize genetic testing when indicated.
I graduated from UCLA/Sepulveda residency in 1987 and have dedicated 35 years to providing psychiatric care. I taught psychopharmacology at CSUN, was a visiting lecturer for UCLA/ Northridge family residency program, and served as a consultant/ lecturer for many pharmaceutical companies. I founded and directed inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs.
The foundation of my practice is based on empathy, communication, education, and compassion. As a medical consultant, I combine my clinical experience and up-to-date medical knowledge to provide individualized, effective, evidence-based treatment.
