Dr. Maryam Nouhi is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in South East Florida. She graduated Cum Laude Honors from the University of Florida in 2008 with a B.S. in Nutrition and Minor in International Studies. She graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014 with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. She completed Psychiatry Residency at Largo Medical Center in 2018.

I am a nationally American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) recognized Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I believe in treating the whole person and not solely the immediate crisis. I educate others to embrace the importance of mental health and to understand it to be as critical as physical health. Everyone is capable of a fulfilling life, regardless of their situation, choices, or past. Quality mental health care should be accessible. Our clients appreciate our various evidenced-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

My mission is to embody the values of accessibility, seamless communication, respect, and excellence in treatment for each patient. I am Medically trained Physician Psychiatrist.I had the privilege to train at Royal London & St Bartholomew’s Hospital for 4 years in various branches of Psychiatry before I moved to the USA. I had a further Residency Training at SUNY Downstate Hospital Brooklyn, NY followed by a one year of Child Psychiatry training at the University of Florida. I have a fellowship in psychoanalysis from NYU and a 2 year of psychodynamic psychotherapy training at Willam Alanson White Institute , NYC.
