I am currently practicing in primary care in Providence, RI with a special interest in addiction medicine, treating opioid and alcohol use disorders. I often utilizes medication assisted treatments in the care of her patient populations. I am well versed in co-occurring psychiatric conditions that contribute to addictive disorders, as well as multi-modal treatment options. I always take an evidenced based approach to helping my patients meet their individual goals.

At times patients or families may not be able to fully discuss issues - that is okay. Dr. Freeman will meet you where you are at in this journey, temporarily lead you, and teach you to lead yourself. Children/Adolescents often benefit in using play to establish trust. Often more can be learned from a child playing a game together vs interviewing them. Dr. Freeman is experienced at listening to all ages and helping them discuss difficult issues. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, I maintain private practices in New York City and Providence, RI. I've trained and supervised clinicians and residents of Brown University Medical School. I am currently working with adolescent and adults. I have experience providing care to all ages across the lifespan. I have a strong interest in the field of ADHD. I have a long history of diagnosing treating ADHD and coaching individuals with ADHD. I take a wholistic patient centered approach to the care I provide. I work with my patients and families to find the treatment plan that best suits their needs.
