I am a bilingual, board-certified psychiatrist providing outpatient care for adults ages 18 to 64. The psychiatry approach I enjoy is integrative. I practice medication management alongside the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine: whole-food nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of harmful substances, and positive social/spiritual connectedness. Therefore, I seek to partner with individuals who are interested in engaging in in-depth work, exploring not just symptom relief but the underlying patterns that shape their lives.
Because my psychiatric approach is informed by acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), I am dedicated to getting to know what my individual patients value: we invite the question “What matters to me?” rather than “What’s the matter with me?”. My patients can expect psychiatric treatment that is collaborative, thoughtful, and individually tailored.
