My practice offers an integrative approach to psychiatric care, focusing on treating the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. This approach is grounded in the belief that each person's healing journey is unique and should be supported by a treatment plan that is tailored to meet their specific needs. I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2005 with the desire to support adolescents and adults in feeling more empowered in their own healing journeys. This remains my goal for each patient in my practice.
I treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to, depression & anxiety, trauma & PTSD, inattention & ADHD, grief, loss and life transition issues. I have served patients in a variety of community settings and welcome individuals who are interested in medication as part of a treatment plan and those who are hesitant about this course of care.
What I love about my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner is the opportunity to meet someone exactly where they are, understand their unique challenges and concerns, and work together toward healing.
