I'm so sorry that I'm not currently accepting new clients. (I'll change this statement when I'm ready to accept new clients, though it's okay that I get calls to double check. I know it can be very stressful to find a therapist, especially in the pandemic.) If you'd like to read further for future reference: I'm an adult & child psychiatrist, with experience with families and foster kids, but I've transitioned most of my focus to adults, and I do individual talk therapy, on a weekly or biweekly basis, by video/telehealth (I no longer have an in-person office) and sometimes with diet or supplements or very cautious use of medication.
I approach therapy as a healing relationship that can help with developing a broader sense of dignity or centeredness or wholeness, self trust or respect, relationships and parenting, grief, trauma and depression or anxiety. I also work with facing death across the lifespan, including parents with life-threatening illnesses or parents losing children.
Every journey with suffering or growth is unique. Trials and challenges can seem continual survival in the time we have, or come unexpectedly, or as mysteriously haunting dreams when our outward lives are incongruously fine. Therapy that fits can bring profound healing, healing that's also a gift to our present or future loved ones and to next generations.
