This is my solo-provider private practice in which I focus specifically on treating adult clients who are working through a wide variety of general mental health conditions, or who may be needing consultation as they navigate difficult life circumstances. My ideal clients are motivated in gaining deeper insight into their situation as they work towards recovery and healing. While I treat a wide variety of conditions (anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc.), my focus is always on the person who brings the condition. In working together we can address not only symptoms and syndromes, but resolve the underlying causes of distress.
My approach to helping clients is individually-focused, holistic, and integrative in nature. I incorporate supportive counseling and therapy, as well as lifestyle interventions as part of any treatment plan. Medication treatment may be indicated, but not always necessary. Successful treatment depends on building a plan that is safe, effective, and enduring.
Many are rightly frustrated with psychiatric care that may feel preoccupied with medication as the mainstay of treatment.
