I have a unique approach in combining medication management with therapy to address the specific needs of each patient. I have advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy and insight oriented psychotherapy as well as medication management. For 22 years, I have successfully treated patients in private and community practice. I help patients struggling with life transitions, relationships, and anxiety, as well as depression, bipolar and thought disorders.
I am trained in both psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). When medication is necessary, I have extensive experience choosing the right psychotropic medication to address each patient's specific needs. I enjoy working to create an individualized, responsive and successful course of treatment.
My practice is located at the Dupont Circle metro. Metered and garage parking is also available nearby.
