My typical patients come to me having difficulty managing their mood, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or dread. Specific contexts might include interpersonal difficulties, work-related problems, or challenges in relationships. In terms of treatments, ideal patients motivated to attend treatment sessions and work collaboratively. I treat people interested in medications, psychotherapy, or both.
As a general psychiatrist, I help people of all walks of life. Because I treat such a broad range of people, I offer a broad range of treatments. In addition to cognitive behavior therapy for somatic preoccupation, anxiety, panic, and mood disorders, I also provide psychodynamic psychotherapy.
