I am an open-minded practitioner and I feel strongly that it is every person’s birthright to be happy and to live a fulfilling life. I believe that every person is always doing their best; there is no such thing as laziness or a lack of motivation. I employ a client-centered approach to help people tackle the burdens that are holding them back. I provide a thorough psychiatric evaluation and only recommend medication cautiously and with clear intention.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist with specialty training in addiction, and I served in leadership roles at NYU and Rutgers NJ Medical School for the past decade. I treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and addictive disorders. I am a certified Reiki practitioner and I am happy to work with you from an energetic and spiritual perspective.
I am also trained in brainspotting, which is a type of trauma therapy using eye movements to help "process" traumatic memories and find relief from anxiety and post-traumatic stress symptoms.
