I am a board-certified FNP and PMHNP with a decade of experience in healthcare. I have practiced in family practice, neurology, palliative care and hospice, and emergency medicine before beginning my career in psychiatry. My goal is to empower patients to take charge of their mental health through supportive education in a stigma-free environment. I will help you create a treatment plan that incorporates medication, therapy, or both, and that most importantly you are comfortable with.
I have a special interest in working with new moms/moms to young children, as well as women before and during pregnancy. I have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health/Mood Disorders from Postpartum Support International and enjoy helping women during this rewarding, but often stressful time in their lives.
I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values shared decision making and evidenced-based practice. I have experience treating a variety of mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety to name a few, but offer treatment for a wide variety of mental health conditions to adults and children.
