Dr. Eric Finkiel, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Eric completed his undergraduate education in nursing at New Jersey City University. He received a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University, and a post graduate certificate as a PMHNP from the University of Cincinnati. Eric went on to receive his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Massachusetts, Boston. Eric has been working as a nurse practitioner since 2016 and has extensive experience treating a variety of medical diagnosis.
Eric brings his combined experiences, working as both a board-certified FNP and a board-certified PMHNP, to provide his patients with a broad approach to their care. Eric is qualified to perform a spectrum of psychiatric care including assessment, diagnose, prevention, treatment, and prescribing medications as needed.
Eric treats his patient’s holistically while providing them with the best care. Eric has experience working with and treating patients suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder type I and type II, ADHD, OCD well as, many other mental health conditions.
