I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in treating patients with mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. I work with psychotropic medication for symptom management, but I encourage my patients to engage in psychotherapy, nutrition awareness, exercise, sleep hygiene and relaxation activities. I offer and have implemented GENETIC TESTING as part of my treatment regimen as well as assisting with cannabis card retrieval.
I have spent the last decade working in the mental health field. Most of those years were spent working on inpatient psychiatric units serving children, adolescents, adults and the elderly in their times of acute crisis. I am also an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
I will gather past and present medical information from you and together we will discuss the best plan of care. I can prescribe medications when needed. Therapy is equally as important. I work closely with a therapist and I am able to get you an appointment as quickly as needed.
