Dr. Hyun is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She received her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine, then continued at Yale for general psychiatry residency. In her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident of the adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit. She then completed her child and adolescent psychiatry training at the NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia/Cornell combined program, where she was the recipient of the Edward J. Sachar Award for Clinical Excellence. Areas of additional focus during her training included college student mental health, eating disorders, and early psychosis.
