Welcome! I'm a board-certified psychiatrist offering psychotherapy and medication management. I'm on faculty at Harvard Medical School and work as a staff psychiatrist at McLean, in addition to my time in my private practice. I do deep work with clients to help them understand themselves. I'm specialized in three areas: trauma recovery, addiction counseling, and personality disorder treatment. I also help with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and ADHD. I work with clients new to therapy as well as clients who have tried numerous therapies and/or medications and haven't gotten the results they wanted. I listen and work collaboratively.

I am an integrative practitioner licensed in NJ & MA who can assess biochemistry to identify important deficiencies/abnormalities that may be related to mental health symptoms. I can provide genetic testing for med management. Patients often seek integrative/"functional" psychiatry after they have trialed multiple medications, experienced unpleasant/unremitting side effects, and have not been able to obtain symptom alleviation with traditional psychiatry. I believe strongly in psychotherapy to help the patient work towards healing. I work collaboratively with other treatment providers and am a strong advocate for my patients needs.

I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations, make diagnosis, and prescribe medications based on evidence based practices in medicine. I work with adults. I have experience with a broad spectrum of disorders including depression, anxiety, panic, bipolar disorder, psychosis, ADHD, and PTSD. I have practiced as a NP in a community mental health center for the past 10 years. I also worked in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for 5 + years and currently do Vivitrol maintenance therapy.
