I’m a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner licensed in Iowa (Elevate Mental Wellness) and Minnesota (Affinity Psych). I earned my Bachelors of Science in nursing at Mount Mercy University (Cedar Rapids, IA) in 2018 and my doctorate of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Practice from The University of Minnesota in 2022. While professional and serious when needed, I can also be outgoing and will adjust my behavior to match the age of those who I work with. I find that my ability to connect with children, adolescents, and young adults creates a trusting and comfortable environment for us to work together.
I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults with special interests in ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders (GAD, OCD, Panic) and PTSD. I am currently completing training in perinatal mental health with a special interest in pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum anxiety, depression, and OCD.
Having graduated from high school in Delano, Minnesota and returning to Minnesota to attend graduate school, I have a strong desire to serve the Minnesota community. While I currently live in Iowa City, IA (offering in person appts) I am also proud to be able to offer services via telehealth to clients in Minnesota as well.
