As a board certified Psychiatrist I specialize in the study of how psychopharmacology, genetics, neurobiology and cognitive beliefs interact with psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and psychosis. I focus on the study of evolving psychiatric medication and technology protocols as I collaborate with psychotherapists and other professionals to improve the mental health of my patients. Towards this end, I am thrilled to be working with my highly professional colleagues and Psychiatrists at Boca Raton Psychiatry. I accept Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare.
I can now offer two wonderful treatments for those with side effects to medication, are not getting the results they are looking for and still feel depressed or feel they are on too many medications. I offer TMS, transcranial magnetic stimulation and Spravato treatment which is Esketamine.
I share a love of theater, dance, classical music, opera, movies, and Broadway musicals with my husband, Tony Guzman, former associate editor and performing arts critic for The Miami Sunpost newspaper. I have enjoyed living in Florida for more than 25 years.
