I am a board-certified psychiatrist. After graduating from medical school, I worked as a primary care physician in Brazil for few years gaining extra experience in general medicine. After that, I completed 4 years of Psychiatry residency training at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Washington DC. Treating patients with severe mental illness during my formal training gave me vast experience in medication management.

I am particularly interested in working with individuals with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD/ADD and traumas . In my view, the healing work should not stop with the symptoms’ amelioration. Ideally, exploring the roots of maladaptive behaviors will eventually allow patients to choose a healthier and more balanced life style.

I provide in person appointments in Stockton, CA. I offer Tele-consult (Telepsychiatry) services, so that you can conveniently be seen from your home for psychiatry appointments and medication management without the need to travel.
