As a double-boarded neurologist and psychiatrist, my goal is to improve one's emotional well-being by combining my understanding of the mind-brain interface and each person's unique circumstances to create an individualized, integrative treatment plan. I have experience with treatment of intractable depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, functional neurological disorders (FND) including non-epileptic seizures (NES), somatic symptom disorder, chronic pain, and ADHD. I use a combination of both individual psychotherapy and medication management to serve the needs of my patients.
I am also interested in the management of mood and behavioral disturbances associated with epilepsy, movement disorders, traumatic or acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders.
I am board-certified in Psychiatry, Neurology, and Epilepsy and remain at the forefront of diverse, innovative treatments and applications. I trained at New York University School of Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center. Currently, I serve as a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
