I am a board-certified psychiatrist who provides psychotherapy and medication for people seeking help with mental health, addiction, stress, life transitions, and other psychological issues. I use a mix of psychotherapeutic approaches with a focus on psychodynamic, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapies to tailor my treatment to each individual. I also employ mindfulness and meditation techniques to help with people feeling overwhelmed or are having trouble controlling their emotions.
I am currently a research scientist at Columbia University Medical Center, investigating the neurobiological underpinnings of addiction to develop novel treatments and approaches. I trained in adult psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
I maintain a personalized practice and see patients on weekdays in the evenings. My office is conveniently located along multiple subway lines. I do not participate in any insurance panels but can provide documentation for out-of-network benefits.
