I have been a Psychiatric Nurse for 11+ years and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 4+ years, and my mission is to improve your life. My specialties include the treatment of Anxiety, Addiction, and Trauma/PTSD for all age groups.

I have extensive training in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I prefer to see patients for both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, although I am open to working with other therapists. I have affiliation with both NYU and Lenox Hill Hospital and enjoy teaching both psychiatry residents and medical students as a voluntary attending. I provide patient focused therapy. I believe that everyone responds differently to different treatment and the best way to achieve their goals is to take a collaborative approach.

Dolores Joseph is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Dolores earned her doctorate at New York University, specializing in psychopharmacology for mood and anxiety disorders, attentional issues, and enhancing wellness. Dolores has a treatment philosophy geared towards helping all of her clients maximize their potential in all spheres of life (personal, professional, and creative). She provides a customized approach individualized for each client. Dolores focuses on the individual as a whole to promote life satisfaction.

Arnab Datta, MD is a general psychiatrist, talk therapist, addiction psychiatrist, couples therapist and meditation/EMDR doctor in one. Dr. Datta was a meditation teacher, singer and artist before becoming an MD. Most of his patients want the truth ie. a great listener who provides real world congruent answers to their specific problems in the fewest sessions. You don’t need to be an addict to see Dr. Datta either. He’s a controlled substance specialist who treats adderall, benzos and suboxone patients. Medications provide transient benefits for the majority of psychiatric issues. For optimal and enduring results, the combination of capable psychotherapy to foster insight with judicial use of supplemental medication to moderate distracting emotionality is best. Tragically, since psychiatric medications were introduced in the 1950's, psychiatrists have forgetten the unique experience of the individual and instead overdiagnose a few disorders and treat predominantly with medication.
