Dr. Issac is an experienced addiction and general psychiatrist with eight years of experience. He has helped many overcome their mental health challenges. Issac evaluates, diagnoses, and treats people based on their medical pathology, nutritional, and hormonal health. People suffering from addictions, or with other mental health challenges, such as anxiety, and depression, can recover with the correct diagnosis and treatment. I see clients for med evals & management, 2nd opinions and robust patient edu. My clients are wide-ranging: some are brand new to treatment; others have chronic mental illness, whether stable or during an acute episode; I accept pt's looking for a f/u provider after a psych hospitalization; I accept new-onset mental illness, whether due to substance use, an acute stressor or another factors. Some pts who anticipate difficult upcoming life-changes, like a pregnancy, job change, in-laws moving in, etc., may choose to see me prophylactically — often, some of these patients find quick relief just knowing there’s a plan in place.

My focus is a spiritual, integrative, holistic approach to assist you in your journey to optimal mental health and wellness. My clients enjoy a partnership being an active participant in their well being, and are willing to participate in talk therapy if medication is required. My clients prefer take fewer prescription medications, and to taper down dosing of their medications as much as possible. They are open to alternative therapies because they want to feel better and be the best version of themselves.

My personal professional philosophy encompasses the emphasis on individualized and integrative treatment plans, which address the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. I believe addressing the patient as whole person, in an individualized fashion, promotes the most optimal patient outcomes, which facilitate overall well-being and sustainable health.

For every problem, there are solutions: I have witnessed personal change, growth at any age. For children: identity and learning; for adults work/other responsibilities, or staying active and fully enjoying the wisdom of a mature life. Together we identify the issue(s), talking support CBT therapy and/or medication including natural complementary, exercises, work coaching. For fees, I work flexibly with those patients who have out of network coverage so they are reimbursed.

It is not uncommon for people to notice something is off, for some maybe your heart is racing in certain situations, or maybe you may not want to go out with friends and family as much as before the pandemic, have you been isolating more, eating less, trouble sleeping. It's very easy to just chalk it up to an "off day" or "stressful week" at work "it'll get better next week", well now it is just as easy to call and request a free consultation and get help for any issues going on new or old. We offer Tele-Health/ TeleMedicine Services, which allows you to have your visit from your home to allow for convivence/discretion.

I am board certified in adult psychiatry and I work with clients to attain mental wellness in all areas of one life. My practice is collaborative and integrates psychopharmacology with my interest/training in nutrition, mindfulness, yoga, exercise, and mindbody therapies. My areas of expertise are in treating anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma. I search for the underlying physiologic causes that can contribute to your symptoms or challenges. Supplements, vitamins, and herbs may be recommended along with or instead of medicine. Genetic testing is offered to individualize treatment. Women’s health is another area of expertise.
