Thank you for your interest in my practice. Although not a Freudian, I subscribe to his view of mental health-the ability to love and work (love and work being broadly defined). My doctorate is in Nursing Science from the Catholic University of America. As a certified specialist in psychiatric mental health nursing and a nursing educator, I bring my years of training and clinical expertise to assisting clients achieve and or reclaim their highest level of functioning in love and work.

Obinna Obiejemba, DrPH, APN., has always wanted to be a hand and a voice — a hand to help the infirmed, and a voice for the most vulnerable. This led him to academic pursuits and careers in clinical medicine and public health. He has spent nearly two decades working in Managed Care and with vulnerable and complex populations. Prior to his graduate studies in family practice, psychiatry, and public health, Dr. Obi led a variety of projects at Baltimore city jails and prisons to improve access to care. He has special interest in adult and geriatric psychiatric disorders including mood disorders, thought disorders, and dementia.

My style is eclectic, practical and problem-solving. I prescribe anti-anxiety and anti-depressant medications when indicated. Psychotherapy is a two-way street. It begins with a consultation, when together we clarify what's troubling you. During that first encounter, we road-test our compatibility as communicators and collaborators. In psycho-therapy, "one size" does not fit all. You should meet more than one clinician before deciding whom to work with.

I use talk therapy and, when necessary, medications, to help people get to a place in which they can listen to their own voice, and use their own strengths, to cope with life's challenges, to establish a meaningful vision for their life, and to carry it out. While I primarily do medication management, I am also trained in DBT and existential therapy.

Dr. Aastha Krebs is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Recognized for her exceptional and compassionate care, she was honored with the Excellence in Nursing Award by the Good Samaritan Foundation. Dr. Krebs has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters in psychiatric nursing and health policy. Dr. Krebs focuses on treating clients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults.

Kate Pabai is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner with a huge passion for mental health, whose care is centered to incorporate the medical as well as the mental health needs of her clients. She provides extensive psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacological treatment initiation, and monitoring for both acute and chronic mental health problems. Kate has worked in a variety of settings including medical, surgical, stroke, dialysis, behavioral units, and case management.
