Cassandra Shepard is dual-licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP), board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center received her Doctorate, Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph. I have experience in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, inpatient, outpatient psychiatric treatment settings, and partial hospitalization program services.

I consider myself lucky to work in a progressive age of healthcare, and strongly believe that mental healthcare especially relies on a culture of acceptance and openness.
