My focus of interest is working with people who feel paralyzed in their relationships and work lives and find it impossible to live following their desires. It's essential to my work to empathize with my patient's dilemmas, suffering, and pain. The experience of being known and understood is crucial in the journey toward healing. I do my best to ensure my patients feel safe to open up. I foster an environment of warmth and curiosity. I work best with people who want to make changes yet feel trapped in a frustrating incapacity to implement them.
Working in collaboration with my patients, I try to get to the heart of their desires. I explore the fears and apprehensions that come in the way of fulfilling those wishes. In some instances, if needed, I also prescribe medication to help with issues such as anxiety and depression.
