I am a Harvard-trained board-certified geriatric psychiatrist. While I work with all adults, I specialize in the management of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, late life depression and anxiety, and the strain that family members experience when caring for those aging with dementia and mental illness. I offer psychiatric medication evaluations and treatment and am currently open to new patients. I received my PA Master’s degree at the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant (CHA/PA) Program in 2020 and have remained in Denver since. I completed my B.S. in Human Biology and B.A. in Art History & Criticism at the University of California, San Diego. Before moving to Colorado, I spent two years as an EMT, followed by two years as a TMS technician. Working in the field of TMS, I naturally gravitated towards psychiatry and have continued to enhance my skills in the field since.

Angela is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Angela has over 30 years of extensive nursing experience and has worked in a variety of settings including cardiac, acute/clinical dialysis, intensive care, home healthcare-case management services, med-surgical care, oncology care, geriatric long term care services, outpatient surgery, anesthesia assessment clinic, emergency medicine, pain management clinic, inpatient/outpatient psychiatric services, residential mental health care services, crisis stabilization community based care, and substance abuse and mental health.

Dr. Kelly Huffman, DNP, ARNP AG-BC, PMHNP-BC has a decade of practice in adult and geriatric internal medicine, hospice care, and general mental health care. She is also specially trained in psychiatric and mental health medication management and therapy for children, adolescents, and young to older adults. She also educates future nursing students on mental health services.

I have since practiced as a PMHNP-BC in residential treatment facilities, private practice, level one psychiatric hospitals, and numerous geriatric facilities. Prior to my PMHNP certification I worked as an RN at several level one psychiatric facilities since 2012 and became the Chief Nursing Officer of the largest level one psychiatric facility in Arizona in 2017. I spend my free time reading, camping, and playing with my 3 rottweilers and 2 french bulldogs.
