About
Ekaete Lawal is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Ekaete knows it’s essential that every patient’s choices, values, and needs be met by a trustworthy, efficient clinician. Her goal is to simplify mental health care for her patients to make their lives more peaceful and enjoyable. Ekaete knows that emotional challenges can feel overwhelming at times. She addresses these challenges by connecting with her patients, helping them find purpose, and guiding them toward balance. Patients can expect empathy from every interaction with her.
Using a combination of psychotherapy and medication, Ekaete treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep problems, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and more. She has been providing therapy since 2011 and is comfortable working with all patients.
Outside of work, Ekaete enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family. Ekaete enjoys working with SohoMD because of the positive employee feedback on the work environment.
