Eilis Clark's Groups
Expressive Arts Circle
This is a non-traditional therapy group, with focus on creative arts such as collage, paper art, guided narratives, inner-child assignments, dream interpretation, cinema therapy, poetry therapy, drumming/other music, etc.
Psych-Cards Circle
Inability/unwillingness to talk about inner turmoil/experience can thwart/undermine therapy. Talking is difficult, because thoughts/feelings are so much a part of you that you cannot describe them objectively, or the weight of shame/fear of judgment hold you back. We all have blind spots & cannot see the full spectrum of possibilities available in any given situation. Metaphors make the many facets of experience visible & comprehensible. Evocative images offer a way for you to talk about otherwise difficult to express inner experiences in a safer, more comfortable way. Tarot/oracle cards contain vast imagery full of metaphorical content.
