I am certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which means I am certified to provide psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, ongoing medication management, and psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan (ages 6 and up). I have been in the metal health field for 20 years, training in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient community mental health, private practice, direct care with children and adolescents, corrections, and both forensic and substance abuse programs. I have experience in treating a wide variety of mental health concerns.
Currently we are providing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and medication management with brief supportive therapy. We will provide services primarily through telehealth from your own home but will offer select days during the month on which in-person visits from our office in Mora will be available.
I practice using the holistic model of care, which means treating not just a diagnosis, instead treating the whole person, their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. It is difficult to be truly “well” if any of these aspects are neglected. I welcome everyone and approach everyone as an individual and as a priority.
