We are currently accepting new patients for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS is a non-invasive, clinically and FDA-approved treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. TMS utilizes magnetic fields to stimulate under-active areas of the brain, over a series of 36 (18 min) treatments. Primarily used for treatment-resistant depression, TMS also treats anxiety, OCD and PTSD. Unlike medication, TMS directly targets neural activity without systemic side effects, making it a valuable option for individuals who haven't responded well to traditional treatments.
With the use of therapy or medication I can treat you or your child so that impairments can be identified and functioning can improve. I diagnose and recommend treatments based on a comprehensive evaluation of personal history, stressors, and symptoms. I help clarify diagnoses, explore causes and offering support through medication or psychotherapy.
I am a double Board Certified Psychiatrist with Specialty Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I completed my Adult Residency Training and Child and Adolescent Fellowship training at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
