I am a Harvard-trained psychiatrist who specializes in treating anxiety disorders (performance, social, generalized), high-functioning depression, OCD, PTSD and ADHD. I practice trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care and have a special interest in working with Asian-Americans.
I provide both medication management and therapy, and have training in psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and ERP (exposure and response prevention). We can always start with therapy alone and, if needed, decide together whether medication would be a helpful addition.
Therapeutically, I enjoy helping patients gain insight into the patterns that shape their lives, understand how past experiences influence their present, and gradually face the situations that fuel anxiety while building a life guided by their values.
