Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Katina Kennedy, affectionately known as Dr. Katina. I am well-equipped to take care of your mental health needs. I am a dual board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. I started my healthcare career in 2003 by working with patients with various mental health disorders. I am an advocate for patient education. I take the time to listen and provide valuable feedback if warranted. Energetic, compassionate, and caring, are just a few words that describe me. I believe in holistic care mentally and physically. We explore the importance of nutrition, adequate sleep, self-care, exercise, medication management, and therapy. I have over 16 years of experience in providing strategies along with medications and therapy recommendations to help persons cope with anxiety, depression, obesity, and life's stressors.
