I am a board-certified psychiatrist committed to providing patient-centered, individualized mental health care. Most recently, I have served the Veterans Affairs population and currently serve as the Lead Psychiatrist for a dual-diagnosis residential treatment program, overseeing care for individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges. I have extensive experience working with higher-acuity populations, including those within correctional settings.

Having worked heavily at the Department of Veterans Affairs during residency, I have a strong foundation in the diagnosis and treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety. Though extensively trained in medication management, I strive to develop a treatment plan addressing illness from all angles to ensure positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.

I take a focused approach with each patient, while also appreciating the broad range of psychosocial stressors that can contribute to a patient’s presentation. I treat no two cases the same and enjoy providing psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as interpersonal, insight based, supportive and motivational interviewing.
