I am a Columbia trained, Board Certified Psychiatrist with a subspecialty board certification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. I am a psychotherapist and a psychopharmacologist having had extensive training in both after completing my psychiatry training. I enjoy helping others and playing an active role in their life and treatment. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to do the work that I do. I am primarily offering tele-psychiatry, but have offices in NYC and Boca Raton where I will see patients in person on occasion. I am licensed in Florida and New York. I am a Distinguished Fellow of the APA and Fellow of ACLP.
I have been in private practice for 20 years. I completed my training at Long Island Jewish Hospital where I was a two-time Chief Resident and my Fellowship at NY Presbyterian-Columbia. I am on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital, NYPH-Columbia, White Plains Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and enjoy teaching trainees.
I am one of the first clinicians in the field to perform Genetic Saliva Testing (Personalized Medicine) to my patients. I am also very knowledgeable about naturopathic therapies for my patients. I am Board Certified in Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry / Psychosomatic Medicine. I am doing primarily video and phone sessions at this time.
