Dr. Owusu is a dual-certified and licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Virginia. I have many years of experience working in healthcare and a background in working with young adult, and geriatric populations in both inpatient, outpatient, and community nursing. I am committed to providing comprehensive individualized care by focusing on the needs and struggles of my patients, and together we develop a personalized care plan which fits the patient's needs.
I do medication management and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. I assess and treat depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and personality disorders.
