I am a psychoanalyst whose emphasis is to listen to patients and help them optimize their lives. When necessary I use psychotropic medications. I rarely see patients less than once a week for a full 45 minute session. An important focus of my work has been for decades psychic trauma (genocide, war and sexual abuse victims) as I believe trauma to play a central role in emotional suffering.
