Hi I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in CT, NY, FL, ME. I have over 8 years practicing and treating patients in various settings including inpatient, outpatient at prominent hospitals here in CT. I have worked in various ED across CT treating patients with various mental health issues, including but not limited to Bipolar, schizophrenia, ADHD, Insomnia, MDD, anxiety, and PTSD. I have experience in treating children from 5 years old to adults 65 and older. I believe in a holistic care model. All my patients are unique and is not a one cap fit all approach. Listening to my client is my key to success.
I specialize in multiple psychiatric diagnosis & addictions, I believe all patients should be involved in their care to find the best solution, not all patients need medication. I give options to my patients and discussed rationale behind these options. I believe in finding one medication to treat multiple issues rather than medication overload.
My adolescents patient need someone who will spend time with them by listening to their concerns and validate their feelings, whether it is medication related or it involves other everyday aspects of their life, which will affect how they behave at home , school, work or their social life. I am an active listener especially to this group of clientele.
