In private practice for 20 years, I treat both simple and complex psychiatric conditions with medication, psychotherapy (talk therapy) or both. I am an experienced, board certified psychiatrist. I earned my medical degree in 1995 and completed a Residency in adult psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. I then did a 2 year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry I worked as an assistant professor at Jackson Memorial Hospital from 2002-2005. I was then voluntary faculty at the University of Miami, Department of Psychiatry. I have vast experience treating eating disorders, ADHD, and autism, via both medication and/or therapy. I am currently residing in both Georgia and Florida, and fluent in Spanish. I offer telemedicine services.

As an experienced and holistic psychiatrist and psychotherapist I enjoy treating adolescents and adults. During my initial evaluation I focus on a whole mind-body connection of an individual. This includes family concerns, dietary habits, environmental issues, social and cultural matters and underlying medical disease that may have an impact on mental health. I provide therapeutic interventions such as psychopharmacological medication management, psychosocial interventions including patient education, supportive and individualized therapy, and referrals to alternative modalities of healing as indicated for the patient.

I had a further Residency Training at SUNY Downstate Hospital Brooklyn, NY followed by a one year of Child Psychiatry training at the University of Florida. I have a fellowship in psychoanalysis from NYU and a 2 year of psychodynamic psychotherapy training at Willam Alanson White Institute , NY.
