My passion for psychiatry began in medical school, where I realized my calling was to help patients lead happier and more productive lives. My approach to treatment includes psychotherapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, rational-emotive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, psychopharmacology and life coaching - various tools which I use to help my patients overcome their difficulties in order to fulfill their personal and professional potential.
I approach every patient as a unique individual. My philosophy is that psychiatric medications and herbal supplements are some of the tools that can be used to achieve a balance along with therapy. A strong believer in a collaborative approach, I help my patients improve considering their particular set of issues and circumstances.
In addition to treating conditions such as Major Depressive, Anxiety, Panic, Bipolar and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, my special area of expertise is Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD). Drawing from my extensive experience in treating ADHD as a college counseling center psychiatrist, I now treat patients with ADHD in all walks of life.
