I specialize in medication management for mood problems, anger management and panic disorders. My approach to therapy combines my characteristics as an individual who is compassionate, charismatic, non-judgmental – with years of experience and effective listening skills.

I am an ANCC board-certified PMHNP. I received my MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health from Virginia Commonwealth University. I worked as an RN on a trauma step-down unit, helping patients who had endured bodily trauma and patients withdrawing from substances. The clinical experience I received during my training was largely with inpatient mood disorder and forensic psychiatric populations with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. When I began to work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, that experience influenced my decision to focus on mental health.

Dr. Anastasia Krosnick is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University. Dr. Krosnick’s clinical experiences took her on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings, managing the care across lifespan from preschoolers with autism to older adults with acute and chronic mental health, and alcohol/substance abuse. Her expertise lies in integrating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy along with complementary and alternative modalities for management of mental illnesses such as nutrition, exercise, meditation, and yoga.
