She brings a vast amount of knowledge and expertise in psychiatric medication management in both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Rebecca Katz is a Board Certified Psychiatrist. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Katz received a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and was a High School Science and Math Teacher as well as an Athletic coach in Pennsylvania for 6 years. She went on to receive a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in stroke research from Rutgers’s University before changing careers to study medicine.

Accepting new patients via tele-psychiatry, a virtual practice, I provide psychiatric/mental health management with a holistic approach. Specializing in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD. Treatment is provided in a judgement free atmosphere from the initial evaluation, ongoing medication management and psychotherapy working in a partnership, establishing goals and providing the tools for you to achieve them. Through telehealth I am able to see patients in New York, Colorado and FLorida.

I am a dual certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. I earned my degrees from the University of Colorado, Anschutz. I have been an FNP for over 15 years working in an outpatient clinic treating common physical health issues with a focus on health promotion and wellness.
