My name is Derek Walcker and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who resides near Howard County, and provides comprehensive, evidence based behavioral healthcare to all the residents of my home state, Maryland. I emphasize exploring the patient's entire mental health history, educating them of their diagnosis and treatment options, and together, we will decide which medication & psychotherapy will yield their desired outcomes.
My experience working with patients across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings, has honed my expertise in treating adults spanning in age from 18 years to senior citizens, who are suffering from a single to multiple mental health diagnoses.
