I am a Yale-trained adult psychiatrist (board certified) and psychotherapist with over two decades of experience. My expertise is treating anxiety and depression, ADHD, sleep disorders, and performance/sports related problems. I provide psychotherapy and, when needed, medication treatment, approaching each patient as a whole person and tailoring treatment to meet their unique, personal needs. I consider my style non-judgmental and interactive, and collaborate with my patients to help them toward symptom relief, as well as greater wellness and fulfillment in life.
In addition to my private practice, I served as a psychiatrist for Yale’s University Health where I treated college and professional students, as well as collegiate athletes. As an Assistant Clinical Professor there, I supervised and taught residents in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, and co-authored several board review books on Psychiatry.
My office is conveniently located on East Northfield Road in Livingston less than half a mile from St. Barnabas Medical Center. I still maintain a part-time private practice in New Haven, Connecticut. I look forward to working with you in your personal journey.
