An experienced and meticulous clinician, I have practiced for more than 25 years in diverse roles and settings, utilizing an eclectic array of treatment modalities such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy including Suboxone, motivational interviewing, relationship counseling, and TMS.
Dr. Weimer was on faculty at the University of Arizona for many years. He has educated, lectured, mentored, and supervised nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, interns, and residents over the years. He received the 2010-2011 University of Arizona Department of Psychiatry Junior Resident's Award for Excellence in Psychiatric Education.
