Biography I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. I am accepting new patients ages 15 and above. I enjoy working with individuals and families. I incorporate a holistic approach to mental health, including problem-focused psychotherapy, mind-body connection, lifestyle modifications, and medication management. We are all unique individuals, so our best strategy is to individualize care across disciplines, including referrals for in-depth psychotherapy.
I have over 20 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and completed my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner training through Johns Hopkins University. I am dual certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
My areas of clinical focus include Adolescent Mental Health, Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Women's Health Issues, Postpartum Depression & Mood Disorders. I utilize several treatment modalities, including medication management, motivational interviewing, brief problem-focused counseling & lifestyle modification
