My treatment approach begins with discussion of stressful issues from your perspective. If medication is identified as an intervention I can fully discuss potential benefit as well as risk. Treatment is customized on a person-by-person basis. I believe the best treatment or medication is the one that works for you. I often recommend nutrition, exercise, yoga, and other activities promoting rest and adequate sleep. I support Involvement of family and other treatment providers.

I provide a safe space and focused discussion on your presenting symptoms. Reviewing what is working well and addressing what is not helps determine if medication may be helpful. The first visit includes a psychiatric evaluation and further visits focus on therapeutic medication management. Supplemental focused psychotherapy is often helpful.
