My philosophy in nursing and psychiatry is to meet you where you are in your mental health journey and try to understand what brought you to where you are. I want to work with you and help you meet your mental health goals so you can live your best life. My goal is to use evidence-based and best practice to guide treatment and decision to support you and your own personal aspirations. By providing a safe and judgment free environment, you can start to grow and become your best you.
I treat a variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, insomnia, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar and mood disorders, and schizophrenia. Now treating substance and alcohol use disorders. Medications at high risk for dependency and abuse, are prescribed sparingly and accordance with current best practice recommendations.
Everyone needs help at some point in their journey. The help I offer comes in the form of medication management paired with brief therapy interventions. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I graduated with my master’s degree in 2021 and have more than 17 years in the nursing field.
